Investigation of Hoisting Electrical Drive with Series Electromechanic Brake Mode Operation

Abstract
Abstract — Using a mathematical model of an electric hoist asynchronous electric drive with direct torque control using an electromechanical brake, the winding of which is series with one of the phases, are examined the operating modes. The modes of starting, operating and stopping the electric drive were studied. A part of the experimental results has been added. The obtained results give the possibility to design electric hoists and their con-trol using frequency converters.
