Abstract
Paper deals with most common problems which occur when low voltage grids are highly penetrated with distributed generation based on renewable energy like solar or wind.
Model of distribution grid in central Europe based on real data with high share of renewables is created and impacts are observed. Subsequently, simple strategy based on utilization of energy storage units to decrease or completely remove undesired effects is proposed and its behavior under real conditions is simulated.
Results are discussed and evaluated, also some improvements are suggested.
