Abstract
Abstract: Modern lighting lamps have an important harmonic emission. Compact fluorescent lamps typically have a high harmonic emission. In case of LED - lighting emission diodes could be find important differences in case of harmonic emission. Emission of some LEDs type are as high as emissions of compact fluorescent lamps. The most important source of harmonic emission is the rectifier stage of electronic ballast. The compact fluorescent lamp could be divided in two parts. One part is the electronic ballast and the second part is fluorescent tube. The fluorescent tube is a nonlinear load. The harmonic emission of electronic ballast loading by fluorescent tube is lower. If the electronic ballast has a linear resistive load, the harmonic emission is higher than in case when the load is the fluorescent tube.
