Abstract
This article is devoted to the increasingly annoying and dangerous phenomenon occurring both in Poland and other and the world countries, that smog is. The article presents the phenomenon of smog in Poland defining its concept and presenting the state of air pollution analysis, also sources of the pollution resulting in smog are studies. The next part of the article presents possible ''classic'' solutions such as increasing the availability of system heat for individual consumers as well as long-term solutions by increasing the number of pumping plants as the energy reservoirs for use in individual households.
A significant part of the article is devoted to the methods of smog decreasing in the concept of ''innovation'' and ''future'', which are implemented in China, already concerns the ecological production of ethanol from hard coal as well as American solutions on ethanol production directly from carbon dioxide those can be a clean energy sources.
In the article's conclusions, the authors suggest that significant negative pressures and expenditures should be put on the greater use of traditional heat sources in the form of system heat, electricity production and the use of state-of-the-art technology by the creation of complex sources of energy and heat their storage in energy warehouses.
